These prophage downloads are from the Phantome database. Most are generated automatically, please contact Rob Edwards or one of the other phantomers if they appear out of date and you would like more recent files.
We currently have two data sets. The GenBankFiles are predictions where we have a reliable training set of known prophages to look at, and are sure of our predictions. The Proteins are proteins that we predict to be prophages, based on PhiSpy from among all the genomes we have in the phantome database.
We have been trying to find prophages. Here we have some genome data in a few different formats. Please take a look and let us know if you find what you want, and if not, what we can do to help.
If you use these data, please cite: Akhter, Aziz, and Edwards, Manuscript in Review. Please contact us for more information.
